Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, although it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.

If you requested that the service should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of services already provided up to the time you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal in respect of this contract, compared with the full scope of services provided for under the contract.

Early expiry of the right of withdrawal for digital services (§ 356(5) BGB)

When purchasing a Premium subscription, you are explicitly asked during checkout whether we should begin performing the contract — i.e. granting you access to Premium content — before the withdrawal period described above has expired, and explicitly informed that giving this consent means you lose your right of withdrawal.

If you give that consent, your right of withdrawal expires in full under § 356(5) BGB — rather than merely being reduced as described above — as soon as we begin performing the contract, which for this Premium subscription is the moment your access to Premium content is granted. In that case there is no pro-rata payment obligation under the previous section, since the right of withdrawal has already expired entirely. Without your explicit consent, we will not begin performing the contract before the withdrawal period has expired.
