YoY / QoQ

In German: YoY / QoQ (Vorjahr / Vorquartal)

Year over year compares a figure with the same period one year earlier and removes seasonal effects; quarter over quarter compares it with the previous quarter and reacts faster, but can be distorted by seasons.
