A planned German scheme in which the state pays 10 euros a month into an investment account for every child from age 6 to 18 (1,440 euros in total). The federal cabinet approved the draft law on 12 August 2026; it is meant to start on 1 January 2027 with the birth years 2020 and 2021, but parliament has not yet decided (as of October 2026).
