Arabica vs. Robusta

The two main coffee species. Arabica (grown mainly in Brazil and Colombia, traded as the ICE "KC" future in US cents per pound) is milder and more expensive; Robusta (mainly Vietnam and Brazil, traded in London in USD per tonne) is more bitter, contains more caffeine and is used in espresso blends and instant coffee.
